Rules of Participation
Please take a moment to review the Rules of Participation outlined below. By taking part, you agree to engage in a respectful, relevant, and supportive manner.
1: Submission Guide:
We welcome event submissions that are relevant to the Franklin and Southampton County (SoCo) community and surrounding areas. Events should be of interest to local residents and align with our community-focused mission. Please include accurate and complete details such as the date, time, location, and a brief description of the event. Be sure to verify all information before submitting. All submissions will be reviewed and approved by an administrator prior to being posted.
2. Content Integrity
Please use respectful and appropriate language when writing event descriptions. Submissions containing offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content will not be accepted. Avoid submitting duplicate events or unrelated promotions, as these may be considered spam. Repeated or inappropriate submissions may result in review delays or rejection. All event details must be truthful and accurate to ensure a positive experience for our community.
3. Respect
Please treat all users with respect and courtesy. Personal attacks, harassment, or any behavior that could be seen as disruptive or harmful will not be tolerated. If you have feedback regarding an event or the submission process, we encourage you to share it in a constructive and respectful manner to help us improve the experience for everyone.
4. Ownership
By submitting an event, you confirm that you have the authority to promote it and have obtained permission from the event organizer to share its details on our site. Submissions must not include content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or any other intellectual property rights.
5. Cancellation
If there are any changes to your event after it has been submitted, please notify us promptly so we can update the event details accordingly. In the case of a cancellation, let us know as soon as possible so we can remove the event from our calendar and help prevent any confusion for attendees.
6. Legal Compliance
All events submitted must comply with local, state, and federal laws. Any event that violates legal requirements will be rejected. Additionally, personal information collected through event submissions must not be used for unsolicited communications or marketing purposes. Users are expected to follow proper security protocols and refrain from attempting to exploit any vulnerabilities on the site.
